WOAI-TV Sports Anchor/Director, Don Harris, utilizes his media platform to make a positive difference in thousands of lives and truly gives back to the community
The Annual Don Harris Charity Golf Classic benefitted the Arthritis Foundation for the first five years until they moved their headquarters to Houston. Because Don Harris wanted to make sure that the money raised would help the people of San Antonio, for the last six years, this golf tournament has been changing the lives of thousands of families, seniors, children and youth that turn to Family Service Association for hope.
Family Service Association of San Antonio has been improving the lives of individuals and families and strengthening their communities since 1903. Family Service helps children overcome abuse and neglect; helps seniors remain in the comfort of their own home while being independent; supports parents to build strong and healthy relationships with each other in order to be better role models for their children; supports military families and their children affected by the war; helps at risk youth to remain in school, away from drugs, out of gangs and go on to higher education. Family Service promotes volunteerism, self sustainability and a healthy lifestyle for all ages.

Nationally-renowned CareNet is enhancing your health
Despite its progress in so many areas, major health care providers and other entities in the United States are continuously seeking ways to improve benefits packages and enhance the well-being of its members, employees, and citizens.
Recently, many organizations have elected to provide beneficial health programs– including gym memberships and nutrition programs – in an effort to improve the general well-being of its people.
